Celebrate the 25th Annual Martin County Senior Games

 

During the first week of November, the Martin County Parks & Recreation Department will be hosting the 25th Annual Martin County Senior Games. Taking place November 1-9, the games are a sanctioned qualifier for the Florida Senior Games State Championships. The 13 different sporting events take place at various locations and dates throughout Martin and St. Lucie counties and are open to individuals with 50 or more years of experience!

 

Events include a golf tournament, basketball shooting, doubles tennis, singles tennis, mixed doubles tennis, track, field, horseshoes, golf skills, swimming, a 5k run, bowling, cycling and table tennis. Those participants that finish in the top five of their age group are eligible to participate in the Florida Senior Games State Championships which takes place in Lee County this December.

 

Call 772-221-1419 or email [email protected] for more information. Athletes may also signup online at http://econnect.martin.fl.us. Registration is $10.00 and includes one sport with the exception of $20.00 for bowling and $25.00 for the golf tournament. Registration is open through October 31.
