Hi There!
Hi there, Redwood City! I can't believe it is already June. Summer is right around the corner and this is the month that we celebrate all of our Dads and Grads. Downtown Redwood City is a great place to help you celebrate and acknowledge these super people in your lives. Whether it is finding that unique gift for the recent graduate or a great place to take dad for brunch, you can find it in Downtown.

Thank you to all who took a moment of your time to fill out the Downtown Shopper's Survey last month. We had over 470 responses! This information will be useful in helping to bring new businesses to the Downtown area.

As always, if there is something you want to ask or need more information on, I would love to hear from you. I can be reached at [email protected] Until next month, have a great start to your summer!

-Catherine Ralston, Economic Development Manager

Brick Monkey Squared , located at 816 Middlefield Road (right across from Century Theaters), is a great location to find that unique gift you have been looking for. Whether it is a great women's fashion piece, a locally made piece of jewelry or that special gift that says just the right thing, Brick Monkey Squared is the place to find it.
Dining Out!
Cyclismo Cafe is now open! Brother/sister duo with local roots, Jihan and Munir are bringing cafe treats and cycling culture to the RWC. Try the arisian apple and brie on a baguette(top) Open faced smoked salmon with herb creme fraiche and olive oil marmalade. Yum!

Bikes on display will circulate regularly and they will also host different bike companies and shops that will do short term, Pop-ups. Check out their website for information about upcoming events such as bike safety classes, meet-ups and bike swaps.

They are located on Middlefield Road near the Cinemark Theater. Bike on over!
Around the Town
Redwood Trading Post is officially open at their new location at 1455 Veterans Boulevard. They have been a family owned Redwood City business since 1952 and are the source for quality outdoor gear and specialty clothing for the San Francisco Bay Area. Their store is full of products for every outdoor adventure. It's a great place to gear up for all of your summer adventures.
Project Safe and the Redwood City PD
Project SAFE was designed to serve as a model that brings together the appropriate services and organizations to work together to address social challenges and crime related issues at Sequoia Station. As a result of this program, the Police Department has helped local businesses at Sequoia Station to enjoy a more more comfortable working environment for their employees and patrons and increase business. The RCPD has won several awards for this program including the Silicon Valley Leadership Group Red Tape to Red Carpet Award. Thanks to our Redwood City Police Department for bringing the community together to keep our city safe!
