Get Paid Faster with Accurate Check-in
Doctor and nurse working at reception desk while patient standing in hospital

The easiest rejections by payers are from improper demographics & insurance information.  "Your front line controls your bottom line", is often quoted by our CEO here at Positive Results.  Insurance eligibility modules should be utilized to their fullest potential.  Ensuring you capture all of your patients' insurance information will move claims along faster.  Confirm whether on not the patient has any additional coverage.

In addition, any practice utilizing credit cards on file should ensure authorization forms are signed at check-in.

What you need to know:
Payers will be getting strict about using more specific diagnosis codes.  Some codes that include a "site unspecific" description may be deemed inefficient.  Claims will be actively monitored by the PR team to ensure codes are being corrected & paid.   It's more important than ever for medical records to be thorough & complete in order to capture all details for billing purposes.

Sincerely,

Chad R. Donnelly
VP of Operations

HIPAA Training
Are you spending enough time on this with your staff?
Law requires all new staff to be trained on HIPAA regulations shortly after being hired.  We recommend annual updates to help keep your procedures on the forefront of their minds.  Inadequate training can cost over $1 million in fines.
