I am looking forward to the long weekend next weekend. I have been working hard for for quite a few weeks with few breaks and I plan to make time to just get away from my desk for a few days and re-connect with my family.
This weekend, they were in Georgia for an empowerment ceremony while I played catch up on so may of the things that carried over from the previous week. Too much work!

No B. S. Job Search Advice: Phone Interviews--Prepare to Ace Them!
More companies are saving time and effort by doing initial telephone interviews before committing themselves to hours of time assessing and evaluating applicants. They are doing this because, frankly, it's a good way to save a team's time from interviewing obviously unqualified people. From your standpoint, this means that you need to develop an additional interview skill.
One of the disadvantages of doing a phone interview is that they can't be influenced by how well you look or what a great suit you're wearing to the interview or that you own terrific ties. It also means that you can sit in the comfort of your home, rather than trudging to their offices. With this opportunity, comes problems.
Pick a category--recruiting, job hunting, executive search, Internet recruiting . . . anything you think I am worthy of endorsement (I will not automatically endorse you back).
Please don't offer new categories. LinkedIn limits the number of categories to 50 and I have already maxed that out many times over.
