Greetings from Port Ludlow -
What in the world does "June gloom" mean? We sure didn't see it on Memorial Day in Port Ludlow - and the forecast for the next ten days is sunshine and more sunshine! AND Summer Solstice is upon us - June 20th - now THAT is a day to celebrate!
Half way through 2016 and we are delighted about several happenings here:
The Farmer's Market is open - and so is the new venue at Finnriver Orchard and Cidery.

The Chimacum High School golf team, coached by our Head Pro Darren Posey, came in third in the state! How about that?!
|
|
The veranda is open and all we can say is, bring the suntan lotion!
|
|
Our "knitters" are back - and they have an open invitation to the "Marketplace" - come on by and stock up - or just explore the beautiful products available.

You won't want to miss the
movie night
in Port Ludlow - pretty cool idea of boating in - or if you are a land-lubber or is it land-lover, that option is going to be available too. The movie is "UP" and rumor has it that a hot air balloon will be available for rides too. (Now, wind, please stay away that evening!)

And I can hardly wait to paddle around the bay this month - and make my own ice cream! Check out the cool contraption that allows you to add this to your boat (kayak), paddle around the bay, and wha-la, when you return, you have ice cream! We will test it this weekend and hope you'll try it out over the summer as well.......make plans with the Marina store directly.

It is the season to explore on the water. Explore Ludlow Bay in a kayak or stand-up paddle board, available for rent at the Marina.
Have you heard of tow-behind ice cream makers? (This is a test...you HAVE if you read every word to this point!) As you paddle your kayak around the bay, the tow-behind ice cream maker blends your ice cream for you and once you've finished your kayak excursion celebrate with your homemade ice cream! The tow-behind ice cream makers and ingredients are available in the Marina Store.
