Greetings Friends of Neighborhood Yoga,

One of my favorite quotes about yoga is " You don't have to wait to clean out your garage to get started." There is no perfect time, now is the time, and the most difficult part of the practice is simply showing up. Why do we show up for everyone else, but not ourselves? Why do we judge ourselves? Why do we think we are not flexible enough, or young enough, or skinny enough? Yoga doesn't care if we have the right clothes, or if you can stand on your head, or touch your toes, or even see your toes for that matter. Yoga is just about showing up, for yourself, no one else, again and again.

Our mantra here at Neighborhood Yoga is "Come as you are, awaken to your essence," and we want to support you in that process, if you'll let us.

Namaste, Valerie

Don't you love how Boone is a blending of cultures, bringing together traditional music, eastern philosophies, and locally grown food!

Neighborhood Yoga is honored to be just one of those places where All Paths Meet. Come out for First Friday, June 3rd, stop by to hear Noelle Austin, one of our studio teachers, share her music with us in the café, between 6-7:30pm. Kindly Kitchen will be open for dinner and offering free samples as well, and The Lotus Garden is offering 20% off all clothing during the evening. You might even participate in a little impromptu acro yoga in the studio if called to.

New June Schedule is Available!
You have spoken and we have listened, so to better support you in your ever evolving process, we are adding some new classes and teachers to our summer schedule as well as shifting some of our regular teacher's class times around.

You may also notice some of our class names have changed, although the offerings are the same. This is an attempt to simplify the 30+ classes we offer weekly. You'll notice our classes are now divided into two basic categories, "Flow" (vinyasa flow) and "Form" (align and refine). There is more detailed info on line about each class.

Additional workshops include Prenatal, Acro, Meditation/Gita Discussion, Living Light Blessings, and more, so be sure to check out the details below!

For a complete schedule of classes and course descriptions visit  neighborhoodyoga.net .  We hope to see you in the Neighborhood!
