CST Is For Kids
Did you know that CranioSacral Therapy is a wonderful therapeutic approach that can support the optimal health of children of all ages, including newborns and infants?
In CranioSacral Therapy, the evaluation and treatment techniques applied to adults are adapted and modified to address the different stages of human development, especially to protect the more vulnerable craniums of children under the age of nine.
CST helps to mobilize and balance restricted layers of tissue, through the application of a light, noninvasive touch, which children find appealing for its soothing and relaxing qualities. Some CST techniques are especially gentle and useful when a young patient is too uncomfortable to tolerate receiving other forms of treatment.
Conditions that CST can help to correct in children include:
-Concussion and other traumatic impact
-Birth Trauma
-ADD/ADHD
-Headaches
-Autism Spectrum Disorder
-Sinus Infection/Congestion
-Seizure Disorder
-Ear Infection
-Immune Disorder
-Delayed Development
-Sensory Processing Issues
-Central Nervous System Disorders of Unknown Origin
