Life Choices - May 2016

We are so thankful for changed lives and great help!

A Story of Redemption
In 2002, when I was pregnant with my first child at the age of 15, I met the staff of A Woman's Choice Resource Center (AWC).

An abortion seemed to be my only option. My sister decided she wasn't ready to be a mom when she was 15, so at the age of 13 I took over the care of her three children. I still have custody, and that will remain intact until they are of age.  I have had many struggles to get to where I am today...

Prayer and Praise

Praise The Lord:
  • Saved Babies! One of our abortion minded clients chose life this week and two couples walked out of EMW and came to us.
  • God has provided wonderful new employees for all the open position at AWC.
  • We have received several provisions for our clients with regard to clothing, bedding, diapers, and diaper bags. What a blessing!
  • The gospel was shared with clients and several have made a profession of faith!
  • Clients are attending Necole's Place classes consistently.
  • Children are being taught God's word through the educational children's program.
  • More clients are coming in for prayer.
  • God is breaking down walls in our clients' lives. One client completely trusts NP and wants to be fully involved in the program. She's no longer defensive.
  • God is knitting hearts together; there is open sharing and good friendships among clients.
  • Refreshing friendships among staff and clients. God is moving, and we are so thankful!
Please pray for:
  • Three new staff ladies that started in May. Pray they will adjust quickly to the unique weekly demands. Pray for spiritual protection over their bodies, minds, and hearts as they serve the Lord in this ministry. Pray the same for their families.
  • Smooth transitions for everyone.
  • The Board as they seek to move forward with building plans. May the Lord give them wisdom.
  • More donations for the new building campaign and that we can move in with a surplus in both volunteer support and financial support, since we are more than doubling efforts on all fronts; by God's grace!
  • Our clients that are in crisis pregnancies and addicted to drugs. Pray that God delivers them.
  • The high school students we see that are pregnant and confused. May they continue to seek life.
  • Our Necole's Place clients that are facing homelessness due to domestic violence. May the Lord rescue them out of those situations.
  • The children in rough and unstable situations.
  • Wisdom and self-control for clients when it comes to their finances.
  • Clients that battle drug and sex addiction.
  • Clients and their children who have chronic health problems.
  • The kids' summer schedule for school aged children.
  • Strength and wisdom for NP staff and volunteers as they care for these ladies and their families.
