Building brighter futures
Enrollment open now for Pine Tree Society's Autism Transition Program

For families affected by autism, life after high school can be a scary thought. Without the "safety net" of the school environment, navigating the world of adulthood often leaves parents and their children with autism feeling overwhelmed and uncertain about the future. This is where Pine Tree Society saw an opportunity to help.

Starting this February in Scarborough, we are pleased to offer a series of Transition Skill Builders for teens and young adults with autism. Each Skill Builder is designed to help participants connect with peers, discover new abilities and explore career interests as they begin the next chapter of their lives. It's an exciting opportunity for young men and women between the ages of 16 and 21...and enrollment is open now.

Pine Tree Society's Roundtables offer education and support

All parents need support from time to time -- and this is especially true for parents of children with disabilities. Pine Tree Society's monthly Roundtable Discussions are a great way for parents to connect with others who may be facing similar challenges. The relaxed, small group format allows for lively conversation and opportunities to learn, and it's our hope that participants leave with new perspectives, strategies and tools that will make a difference.
