As we close out May and move into summer, I would like to extend my congratulations to all Impact 100 members who have celebrated a graduation recently as well as those who have had a son, daughter or grandchild graduate. May the future be rewarding and fulfilling.

As you will read later on in the newsletter, two of our grant recipients, Activities beyond the Classroom and Community Matters also experienced a 'graduation' of sorts last month as their Impact 100 funded projects were completed. Their persistence and hard work have paid off and will enhance the quality of life of the Hughes High School and Price Hill communities for years to come! Both organizations extend their gratitude to all members of Impact 100 who collectively enabled their dreams to come to fruition.

Last month presented several opportunities for our members to network and socialize while introducing others to Impact 100 at the same time. At our Cooking event we heard updates from Freestore Foodbank on the Healthy Harvest Mobile Market and saw the outfitted truck, which will be used to promote healthy eating by reaching families which do not have access to fresh, nutritious foods. At several spread the word events we also heard updates from Crayons to Computers and Stepping Stones.

The Grant review process is almost complete for 2016! Focus Area Committees have completed their site visits, chosen the finalists for their focus areas and passed these along to CIRC (Community Investment Review Committee) to verify their viability. We are grateful to all committee members who have donated their time to bring forth the best programs/projects. We look forward to presenting the finalists at our Meet the Finalists event on June 28th at the American Sign Museum! Please put the date on your calendar and bring along a friend/colleague to introduce them to Impact 100.

Your passion for Impact 100 is contagious! When you share your excitement and enthusiasm for Impact with friends/family over coffee or by bringing them to an Impact 100 event you are helping Impact 100 transform more lives. More members mean more money we can invest in the community. We are grateful to you for sharing this opportunity with those you know. As we celebrate our 15th year it truly is as a result of the Power of Women IMPACTing our community!

	Impact 100 Board Nominations

	Summer is just about upon us and Impact 100 is in high gear. Focus Area Committees have completed their site visits and are meeting to choose the finalists. Recruiting and Membership are engaging current and future members. Communications and Marketing are keeping members and Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky informed. The Nominating Committee is planning for next year. The Nominating Committee has begun assessing the needs and capacity of the current Board. Beginning in June, the committee will meet with Impact 100 members who are interested in serving on the Board. The goal is to present the 2017 slate for approval in September. As a volunteer organization, Impact 100 members' generous donation of time and talent is vital. Involvement on the Board is a rewarding, creative and collaborative experience. As Impact 100 continues to grow and Strive for Five, there are numerous opportunities for personal and organizational growth. Joining the Board is one way to expand your Impact 100 experience. 	Your Membership in Action!

	Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies for TWO Grant Recipients! In the past two weeks, in a seven day span, two of Impact 100's nonprofit grant beneficiaries celebrated the opening of their new facilities. In 2015, Impact 100 funded Activities Beyond the Classroom to transform the Hughes STEM High School pool into a usable, safe, indoor athletic space for student-athletes. That space (named "The Mack"), held a ribbon cutting with funding partners, Impact 100 members, and the general community on May 20th. Community Matters, 2014 Impact 100 recipient, opened their Lower Price Hill community laundromat, named the "Washing Well, - a space where neighbors are employed - and have access to - a dignified laundry facility in the neighborhood. Partners from P&G, H-M Company, and many neighborhood friends joined for the opening on May 26th. 	Calling all Founding Members!

	You generous, community-minded women made a dream become a reality ... again and again, here and around the globe! We want to thank you, to honor you, and to celebrate your generosity at the 2016 Annual Awards Celebration on September 13th. If you are a 15-year Impact 100 member, please let us know. The early records have not all survived the 15 years, and we don't want to miss anyone. Also, please notify us if any of your fellow founding members are available to celebrate with us - regardless of how many years they sustained their Impact 100 membership. 	Seeking 2016-2017 Corporate Impact 100 Sponsors! One hundred percent of Impact 100 member contributions are utilized to fund the grants each year. Consequently, Impact 100 relies on the generosity of our members, local foundations and corporate sponsors to underwrite our operating costs. Our Impact 100 Member & Prospect list reaches thousands of women in Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky. Depending upon sponsorship levels, companies can receive recognition on all member and prospect emails and invitations, our website, and recognition at events throughout the year. In addition, sponsors receive mention in our newsletters and on Social Media platforms. 	Many thanks to our 2016 members for helping us transform lives in our community by awarding FOUR grants again this year. This year is our 15th Anniversary. In honor of our special anniversary, we hope you will renew your membership for 2017 and even convince a friend to join! Remember, 100% of your membership donation goes to the grants.
