Transition. That's what we - and a lot of life - are all about! On May 23, thanks to Santa Fe chapter founder and former training company owner, Jean Palmer, about 25 women participated in a dynamic conversation about the several transitions many are managing: from health and career issues to re-locating or retiring, each change affects one's life in ways we might not recognize. We shared a short version of a supportive, informative, and fun workshop Jean has offered in Santa Fe and at many of TTN's thirteen chapters around the country. We anticipate she will offer it again soon in Santa Fe. It's open to both members and non-members of TTN and well-worth the modest fee. Extra special thanks to Judy Donohue for a delicious array of homemade tea sandwiches and other snacks!
While many groups take the summer off, TTN is not one of them. We have lots to offer members and guests. June will bring us "Living More with Less"; in July we'll have our annual picnic supper in Eldorado; and in August we'll hear from our money management expert.
In between, we'll have coffees, happy hours and, perhaps, another adventure as engaging as our visit to Taos's Harwood Museum - Ideas welcome (and wanted)!
We look forward to seeing you on Monday, June 27 at 5:45 p.m., if not before at a coffee or around our small town! Bring a friend or acquaintance to our next meeting.
Upcoming meetings:
July: Picnic
August: Mental Roadblocks to Wise Financial Decisions
IMPORTANT NOTE:
There is more than one way to RSVP to a TTN event - through Meetup, on the TTN website or by e-mailing the organizer. It doesn't matter which method you use but
it is important that you RSVP to any event you plan to attend. It's a great help to event organizers.
Thank you!

Monthly Meeting
Monday, June 27 from 5:45-7:30 pm
Program:
LIVING MORE WITH LESS
Please join Interior Designer Karen Lievense in a lively exploration of our relationship with our possessions, why we keep them, and why it's often so challenging to let go. There's a tangible connection between what we see in our homes, and how we feel on a daily basis....wouldn't you like to have the same joyful, loving relationship with your home that you have with your friends and family?
Come share stories of YOUR stuff, and discover why simplicity is the new luxury.
Present
er,
Karen Lievense
In 1987, Karen established her own interior design firm in California. After moving to Taos in 2013, she created Downsizing Made Simple based on her own experience of editing and eliminating possessions in order to live more with less.

TTN JOINS WOMEN BUILD WEEK 2016!
Linda McEnroe and Julia Kinney, representing our Santa Fe TTN Chapter, joined in the effort at the Habitat for Humanity's Women Build Week 2016 by hanging drywall. They credited the helpfulness of the team leaders on site for facilitating a fun, compassionate, learning experience for the participants. Many of the volunteers during the week wrote blessings on the studs for the new family and their new home. Linda described their day as having "Such good energy to permeate the casa for happy living. [this event] was a real miss for those who didn't come. Kudos to Habitat!"
