  • Wilton Library Association's  121st Annual Friends of the Library Meeting  is  Sunday, June 5 @4pm. Join us for a brief business meeting, awards, guest speaker Bryan W. Mattimore and reception. All are welcome; please register.
  • Calling all adult Wilton artists -- entries wanted for our  72nd  Annual Summer Show Art Exhibition . Click here for details and entry forms
  • Wilton Library will remain open until 9pm on June 9, 13 & 14 for additional exam week study time. Quiet study rooms will also be available on the second floor during exam time.

Author Talk: Terry McMillan, I Almost Forgot About You

Multimillion copy and New York Times bestselling author Terry McMillan comes to Wilton Library to discuss her latest novel, I Almost Forgot About You. Like two of McMillan's previous novels, Waiting to Exhale and How Stella Got Her Groove Back (both adapted into films), I Almost Forgot About You shows what can happen when you face your fears, take a chance, and open yourself up to the world. This will be a special night and is also the release date of I Almost Forgot About You. No charge. More info & register
Author Talk: William Leuchtenburg, The American President
Thursday, June 9 @7pm
William Leuchtenburg, one of the great presidential historians of the century, discusses his most recent book, The American President: From Teddy Roosevelt to Bill Clinton. The book is an enthralling account of American presidential actions from the assassination of William McKinley in 1901 to Bill Clinton's last night in office in January 2001. Leuchtenburg portrays each of the presidents in a chronicle sparkling with anecdote and wit.  More info & register
