Kick off your summer with us on Saturday June 11.  We'll have tie-dying, catch and release fishing in the pond, water balloon toss, arts demonstrations, and music by our favorite local band, the IMMORTALS!


SPECIAL MINI-SESSION! Beginning to Advanced Wheel Thrown Pottery with Shawn Grove:  Mondays, 7 pm - 10 pm, four sessions, June 6 through June 27. $100 plus $25 for materials. Ages 15 & up. Maximum enrollment 8. A great opportunity to learn the basics of pottery and clay properties, cutting, wedging, centering on the pottery wheel, and making basic forms, or expand your skills and explore more complex shapes and surface techniques including carving, slip trailing and more. Access to open studio included.


Tuesday Life Drawing Sessions: Tuesdays, starting June 7 and continuing  throughout the summer (no class July 5), 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm; $10 per person; age 18 & up; bring your own drawing supplies. Life Drawing is a great way to quickly improve your observational skills, which is great practice for any artist. The attention to visual reality helps hone an understanding of how forms and light relate. Just $10 per session, or $30 for four sessions.

The Eleventh Annual Western Loudoun Artists Studio Tour: Saturday and Sunday, June 18th and 19th, 10 am to 5 pm.  We're so proud to be a sponsor of Loudoun's signature arts event, now in its eleventh year. Meet nine artists working in a variety of media, see demonstrations and enjoy refreshments.


SPECIAL SALE! Theater Fun and Games with Geronimo Production Company:  Monday June 27- Friday July 1, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, $120 includes materials, age 6 to 10. Looking for an outlet for your dramatic child? Round Hill Arts Center's "Theater Fun & Games" camp is the perfect introduction for any new young actor or actress. Learn how to act, read a script, and block your movement on the stage in a fun, creative environment. Get ready for the next production and have a blast! Intro to Stagecraft with Geronimo Production Company:  9:00 am to 12:00 pm, Monday, July 25 through Thursday, 29, $120 includes materials, Age 11 & up  If you think the stage is only for the professionals, think again. Get ready for your next audition or performance with Geronimo Production Company's "Introduction to Stagecraft" camp. Learn the basics of stagecraft, theater history, script reading and interpretation, blocking, improv, and other techniques that will help you command the stage like a pro. REGISTER BEFORE JULY 1 and receive a $20 discount on tuition!

Book It! Book Arts and Papercraft with Beth Fuller: Monday, August 1 through Friday, August 5, 1 pm to 4 pm, $140 plus $20 materials fee.  Ages 8 & up  Do amazing things with paper in this fun mixed media exploration. Learn folding and paper construction techniques like origami and kerigami, create cool tunnel books, pop-up cards and much more! Different projects every day -- you'll have a blast!

Potter's Workshop: Throwing Large Vessels with Shawn Grove:  Friday & Saturday, August 5 & 6 and August 12 & 13, 1pm to 5 pm, $175 plus $25 materials fee, Ages 16 & up Master the construction of large forms on the wheel with the help of potter Shawn Grove. This workshop is designed for intermediate and advanced level potters.This workshop will focus on the skills and concepts of throwing large forms on the potters wheel.  This is an advanced class where students should be able to center and throw 4 or more pounds of clay on the wheel.  During the drying time for a sectional piece that we will be throwing, the technique of "Throwing off the Hump" will be taught.  This technique allows  potters to throw and trim their production work in a more efficient way.



SPECIAL SALE! Create and play some of today's amazing games, experiences that stretch your imagination as you strategize, innovate, cooperate and compete.
