Summer Instrumental Lessons

The success of our band and music program relies on the students continuing instrumental lessons during the summer vacation to continue their personal growth and retention of instrumental musical skills and performance levels presented during the school year.

The private lesson program being offered here at the Benjamin Franklin Classical Charter Public School will be open to students currently enrolled in the instrumental program and children of the faculty and staff of BFCCPS.

Lessons will be on a private basis (student and teacher) on a 1/2 hour per week basis. Summer lessons will be taught Monday through Friday at the school between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and

3:00 p.m. Because Mr. Benjamin is out on medical leave, all woodwind and brass lessons will be taught by Mr. Heater until Mr. Benjamin returns in late July.

The program will begin on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 and run until Friday, August 19, 2016.

Vacations are not a problem. Notification to the teacher of vacation weeks is all that is required.Students will benefit with even a few lessons. The cost of the program is $20.00 per lesson. This
will be payable directly to the teacher on a weekly basis at the lesson time.

If interested in registering for the program, simply fill out the lesson form. Clip and send the form to Mr. Heater at school. The teachers will contact the individual students and parents to set up the schedule.
