This year for the Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games, we are excited to support the International Fair Play Committee (CIFP) as they bring the message of fair play to this incredible, global event in youth sports. Throughout the event, CIFP will be sharing with us stories of fair play and special events from the Youth Olympic Games.


This week's tragic death of a high school football player has raised concerns on the issue of rehydration. It is important for athletes, coaches, and parents to understand proper rehydration techniques, as outlined in our newest research article.

As our search for the first round of Athletes in Excellence continues, we have extended the deadline for nominations through August 31st!


Email your nomination to awards@globalsportsdevelopment.org, and describe why you think they should become one of GSD's Athletes in Excellence. Five domestic and 5 international athletes will be awarded with a grant of $10,000.
