Dear CARES Awardees,

Congratulations to all the child care professionals receiving a 2013 CARES stipend. By now you should all have heard if and when you are getting a stipend. If you haven't heard, call us immediately! Check events start this week.  

Do your colleagues and classmates know about CARES? Share this information with them. Orientations will be held at Child Action, Inc. regularly. See our calendar of events for details and dates.

Now is the time to plan ahead for your 2014 CARES requirements. Why not meet with a counselor now or in early summer? Get your education plan out of the way.

CSUS's Child Development Department is holding a CARES Orientation and Permit Workshop on Wednesday, May 21 at 10 am on campus. You don't need to be a student to attend.

The ERS class (ECE 455) required for Track 5B First Year is being offered at Folsom Lake College in Fall, beginning September 6. For more information, go to Folsom Lake College's catalogue.
