Abortion Pill Reversal
For women who have just taken the first dose of the abortion pill Mifepristone (Mifeprex or RU486), a change of heart may actually be possible. Abortion Pill Reversal (APR) is a way to intervene in the medical abortion process with Progesterone Rescue prior to the woman's self-administration of misoprostol. Headquartered in San Diego, California, APR hosts a network of over 300 physicians worldwide to assist women who call the APR hotline within 72 hours of receiving an abortion. The hotline is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by one of the APR medical professionals.

As of November 2015, over 140 healthy babies have been born to women who have
sought to reverse the abortion pill and approximately another 75 are pregnant after successful reversals. There is but a small window of opportunity after a woman takes the RU486 when she is sent home with misoprostol to take by herself. Many women change their minds during this time so they need to know there is hope before they take the misoprostol.

What can you do?

The Serious Need for Play #WeeklyBlogPost
Unstructured and imaginative free play is important for children to be able to grow into happy adults. Free play improves problem solving skills and generally makes kids smarter yet children today have less free play time because they are participating in more structured activities and games that have established rules at younger ages.

Parents can  encourage free play by turning off the electronics and creating more spaces for children to play .
