Reusable Usable's Play Cafe is open with a special class for parents at 10am. 10am Cloth Diaper Basics & Care class with Samantha Ulmer/Labor Doula ($5 donation - make and take). Join them for a Cloth Diaper Basics & Care class. It is an introduction to the "fluff" world. Cloth diapering can seem very intimidating, but it doesn't have to be. We would love to help you and your family start or continue on your cloth journey! We will cover the different types of diapers, how to clean them, and an explanation of some confusing cloth diapering terminology. Make sure to bring your questions and any of your own diapers you would like to share or have questions about. Whether you are on the fence about cloth diapering or simply need a refresher, they would love to see you there! $5 per participant/includes make and take reusable wipes project and 1/2 price admission for children in Play Cafe for parents attending class. 11am Story time with Elise. 1pm Art with Angela at no extra fee.

The American Legion Buffalo Bill Post #347, with the American Legion Buffalo Bill Post #347 Auxiliary, and the Pleasant Valley Community School District invites all to attend the Memorial Day Services. Events commence at LeClaire's Glendale Cemetery from 10:15-10:30am. The placing of a wreath at the Glendale Cemetery's Flag Memorial will be followed by services conducted at Bridgeview Elementary School gymnasium, commencing at 11am. Speakers include William Albracht, decorated Army Captain (Vietnam) recipient of 3 Silver Stars and 5 Bronze Stars; and Pastor Ralph Otteson. Music provided by P.V.'s award winning band.
