ICBSD and ICBND Hold Joint Board Meeting in Jamestown, ND

Members of the ICBSD and ICBND Board of Directors held a joint m eeting hosted by the ICBND in Jamestown on May 11th and 12th. The event was kicked off with a dinner hosted by Gene Uher and Gary Keller of Bell State Bank & Trust.  Gene and Gary gave an update on Bell State Bank & Trust and distributed information to the board members.

On May 12th, the two boards met to discuss how both organizations can continue to increase our value and service to member banks, and more specifically, what should community banking associations do for members that we are not currently doing today.  F ollowing lunch, the board members held a round-table discussion about how the ICBSD and ICBND can work closer together and share resources across state lines. They further discussed community banks' educational needs and the need for new innovative products and services that will help member banks  increase  profitability.

Thank you to the ICBND for hosting this meeting and a big thank you to Bell State Bank & Trust for sponsoring our reception and dinner.
