It's now the season of birdfeeders! Snow came late to most of Alaska, but now that winter is settled in earnest, it's time to enjoy our hardy winter birds. In the Interior, Pine Grosbeaks have been showing up at feeders more than usual. Rare birds, such as a Costa's Hummingbird in Anchorage, have also been blown into the state. If you haven't had a chance to take a gander at the print newsletter, we've included a link here. We'll return to the regular eNews next month.
