Dress for Success Morris County
 
New Start Career Network is pleased to announce its partnership with Dress for Success Morris County. 

Dress for Success promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support, and career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. In addition, they provide clients with ongoing career development opportunities through the Employee Retention Program, job training, and a career center.

NSCN can make referrals to Dress for Success for job seekers who need help putting together outfits for interviews. Please let us know!

The Dress for Success Morris County Career Center also provides: 
  • Job-related internet search
  • Resume and cover letter preparation
  • Interview practice and techniques
  • Free online skill enhancement opportunities through Skillsoft® and AARP
  • Career coaching for work-related and communications issues
Dress for Success serves clients in the following 10 New Jersey counties: Bergen, Morris, Essex, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union, and Warren.

Come to the AARP NJ / NSCN Healthcare Industry Job Seeker Networking Event
 
New Start Career Network members are invited to a Healthcare Industry Job Seeker Networking Event co-sponsored by AARP NJ and NSCN on Friday, June 10 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

At the event, participants will have the opportunity to learn about current hiring trends in the healthcare industry during an interactive panel discussion, network with HR professionals from New Jersey healthcare industry employers, and have their resume reviewed on site by a NSCN volunteer!
