NFF to Release 2017 College Football Hall of Fame Ballot June 1
The National Football Foundation (NFF) & College Hall of Fame will announce the names on the 2017 ballot for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame on June 1

To ensure you receive this year's ballot, become a member today by clicking here or contacting NFF Director of Membership Ron Dilatush at [email protected].

The 2017 College Football Hall of Fame ballot will be emailed to members on June 1 and the voting deadline is June 20.
Upcoming Events at the Hall
May 21, Walk the Hall- The Hall will celebrate recent high school and college graduates with FREE admission to the Hall! Grads must present a copy of their diploma or certificate of completion at the box office for entry.

May 28-30, Memorial Day- The Hall will honor all active duty and retired military with FREE admission on Saturday, Sunday and Monday of the Memorial Day weekend! Valid Military ID required at box office upon entry. 

June 10, Chick-fil-A presents The Ultimate Father Son Campout- The Ultimate Father Son Campout will take place on June 10-11 from 6 p.m.-8 a.m. ET. The College Football Hall of Fame opened its doors Aug. 23, 2014, in the heart of Atlanta's sports, entertainment and tourism district. Adjacent to Centennial Olympic Park, the new Hall provides visitors with a highly immersive, interactive and engaging experience using a blend of historic college football artifacts and state-of-the-art, interactive multimedia exhibits. The Blitz
NFF Board Member and Under Armour CEO & Chairman Kevin Plank, a former football player at Maryland,  will give  the commencement address at his alma mater on May 18.

2016 College Football Hall of Fame electee Mike Utley (Washington State) was among more than 90 honorees who received the 2016 Ellis Island Medal of Honor from the National Ethnic Coalition of Organizations.

College Football Hall of Fame coach Vince Dooley has been elected chairman of the Georgia Historical Society's Board of Curators.

College Football Hall of Famer Troy Brown (Marshall) will be inducted into the State of South Carolina Athletic Hall of Fame on May 16 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.

College Football Hall of Famer Bruce Smith (Virginia Tech) will have his number retired by the Buffalo Bills during the team's home-opener against the New York Jets on Sept. 15.

2016 NFF Chris Schenkel Award winner Bob Rondeau, the longtime Voice of the Washington Huskies, will be inducted into to the university's 2016 Husky Hall of Fame Class  at a ceremony on Oct. 23. Also being inducted are the  1984 Washington football team, which was coached by College Football Hall of Famer Don James and featured NFF National Scholar-Athletes Dan Eernissee and Hugh Millen, and former football players  Olin Kreutz and Nate Robinson.

2015 NFF Gold Medal recipient Dr. Condoleezza Rice  will speak  at Stillman College's 140th-anniversary celebration in Tuscaloosa, Ala., on May 19.

NFF Board Member, 2013 NFF John L. Toner Award recipient and Oklahoma athletics director Joe Castiglione  is among  the nominees for Athletics Director of the Year at the 2016 Sports Business Awards, which will take place May 18 in New York City. 2008 Toner Award recipient Gene Smith (Ohio State), Chet Gladchuk (Navy) and Bernard Muir (Stanford) are also nominated for the award.

For the third year running, ESPN College GameDay has won the Emmy for Outstanding Weekly Studio Show. The program was recognized as the 2006 NFF Outstanding Contribution to Amateur Football Award recipient.

The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced the establishment of the ECAC Scotty Whitelaw Memorial Fund to help sustain and perpetuate the mission of the ECAC. Whitelaw, who passed away in April, was a former NFF Board Member and the 1996 recipient of the NFF Outstanding Contribution to Amateur Football Award.
Over The Middle
The NFF State of Maine Chapter will hold its scholar-athlete banquet May 25 at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.

Bob Keropian, president of the NFF Northern California Chapter and former NFF West Region Coordinator,  will be inducted  into the Peninsula Sports Hall of Fame on June 8 at the Green Hills Country Club in Millbrae, Calif.

The NFF Joe Tiller/Northwest Indiana Chapter's scholar-athlete banquet will take place June 10 at the Purdue Memorial Union Ballroom in West Lafayette, Ind.

The NFF Oklahoma Chapter will host its scholar-athlete luncheon June 16 at the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City.

The NFF  Mountain Empire (Tenn.) Chapter will hold its  annual golf tournament June 17 at Crockett Ridge Golf Course in Kingsport, Tenn. Proceeds from the tournament help fund the chapter's scholarships.
