We are thrilled to announce our exciting concert series for the Melbourne International Singers Festival!!

This concert series features the World Premiere of  No Excuses! ,  led by composers  Kathleen McGuire and Christina Green and the No Excuses! Women's Chorus, a new song suite written from real stories of struggle and inspirational resilience singing out against family violence and domestic abuse, in the magnificent Melbourne Recital Centre on Sunday 12th June at 2pm....a performance not to be missed!! Supported by Divine Divas of Sunbury and Vox Harmony City of Launceston Choir.

On Sunday 12th June at 8pm in our world class venue, Melbourne Recital Centre, we are delighted to welcome our special guests, and first visiting choir from the USA,  Dr Jonathan Palant and the Credo Choir, who will be singing in this inspiring and newly revised performance of STREET REQUIEM, in memory of those who have died on the streets. This moving concert will feature internationally acclaimed soloists, Liane Keegan, Jonathon Welch AM and Claire Patti, together with the 200 voice massed STREET REQUIEM chorus conducted by Dr Kathleen McGuire and Dr Jonathon Welch AM. Supported by THECHO!R and Credo Choir (USA)

The Festival Showcase Concert, on Saturday 11th June at 8pm in Deakin Edge Theatre, features our visitors from distant lands, Credo Choir from Dallas, Texas in the USA, conducted by the brilliant  Dr Jonathan Palant ,  and Vox Harmony City of Launceston Choir , a non-auditioned community choir from Tasmania with 55 members, conducted by the ever flamboyant and energetic,  Denise Sam .

Saving the very best until last, it is with great anticipation we await the return of the King of Contemporary Choral music, Dr Kirby Shaw from USA, featuring in our Finale Festival Concert "Puttin' on the Ritz" on Monday 13th June at 2.30pm in the fabulous Deakin Edge Theatre. 

A brilliant composer and arranger of more than 3,000 choral works selling over 20 million copies, Dr Shaw will swing our 300 voice massed festival chorus through many of his own stunning arrangements. This concert will also showcase many of our festival choirs including THECHO!R, Divine Divas of Sunbury,  Vox Harmony City of Launceston Choir,  Voices of Casey, Latrobe Valley Community Choir and  Western Health Singers plus individual singers accompanied by our maestro pianist,  Adam Przewlocki.
