Nonprofit Displacement Fund Request For Proposals Released 

The Northern California Community Loan Fund has announced a Request for Proposals from arts and culture nonprofits at risk of displacement or that have been displaced in the past twelve months from their work space due to escalating real estate costs. Nonprofits eligible to receive support must demonstrate financial health other than the real estate displacement issues they are facing. The deadline to submit applications is Friday, November 14, 2014.

Covered California Workshops for Artists

Need health insurance? Have questions or need help enrolling in a Covered California Health Plan? This workshop will:

  • Walk you through your Covered California options and requirements.
  • Provide important information relevant to freelancers and the self-employed.
  • Help you figure out how to get affordable health insurance with tax credits and federal subsidies.

When: Mondays, November 10, 17, 24 and December 1, 8, 15 at 11 a.m.
