SBAC Testing
State Testing Continues This Week
All students at Fallon Middle School participated in the English and Math components of the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) last week. On Monday and Tuesday of this week, 8th graders only will take the Science component of the tests during their regularly-scheduled Science classes. In addition, any student who did not complete the English or Math components will be called to the library during class time to complete those segments

Dance Chaperones Needed

Fallon's last all school dance of the year is coming up!!! We still need couple of more volunteers for the upcoming dance ( 5/20/16). Parent and staff supervision ensures that all students have a fun and safe time at school dances. Please volunteer to chaperone at least one school dance during your child's three years at Fallon. Failure to secure a sufficient number of parent chaperones may result in cancellation of future events. Please check the following Sign-up Genius  link to sign up as chaperones for various dance events organized by the school.

8th Grade Events

Important Note:  Change in Start Time for Promotion
Families of 8th-graders, please make a note that the start time for our 8th-grade promotion on
June 10th  has been changed to 6 PM. Since we will be sharing the DHS facilities with Wells, the later start time will ensure that the parking area has been cleared and will give the district maintenance crews ample time to prepare the stadium for this special night.

We are including a page for the 8th grade events on the PFC site at  https://sites.google.com/site/fallonschoolpfc/8th-grade-year-end-events

We will also have important events listed separately on the Fallon Flash.

CJSF News and Events

Two of  our CJSF students, Eighth graders Tinni Mukherjee (Secretary) and Matthew Kang (Vice President), are in news for receiving a Community Service Award. Please read more about them  here .

Upcoming events
Jamba Juice Sales 5/16 to 5/20 and all profits will be donated to ECHO (El Camino Homeless Organization)
Lemonade Sales 5/23 to 5/27 and all profits will be donated to Doctors without Borders.
Root Beer Float Sales 5/30 to 6/03 with all profits also going to Doctors without Borders.

Measure H Volunteers
Measure H Committee has contacted the Fallon PFC to help get the word out on Measure H.  They are seeking volunteers in the following areas.

1. Parent Liaison to work with the committee.  This person would represent Fallon PFC and work closely with the committee and its members.
2. Volunteers for the Phone Bank nights.
The Committee has organized several Phone Bank Nights for each school site.  Phone Bank Nights are an easy way to get the word out to the community about the Bond on this June's ballot.

Fallon is scheduled for
Wednesday June 1st
Phone Bank times:  5:30pm-8:30pm
Phone Bank location: Dublin Toyota at 4321 Toyota Dr.

After volunteers sign-up for a date/time they arrive at Dublin Toyota to get a brief training, a cell phone and a basic script of information for phone calls. It's really easy and you don't need to study up on the bond measure prior to arriving.

If you are interested in being the Parent Liaison position or would like to volunteer for the Phone Bank, please click on the following link.
