As we enter June, the EEC is preparing for the Annual EEC Luncheon Featuring the Swim with the Sharks (SWTS) Video Pitch Competition. The SWTS competition has been a huge success over the past three years as part of the Chamber's Annual Dinner. The EEC has now decided to make the competition its own entity and it will be the main focus of the summer and our Annual Luncheon. We will be providing 2 business education classes to those interested in joining the competition. These two classes will be on "
How to use video to market your business" and "
How to create an effective pitch." More details on these workshops are to come. Although, competition registrants do not need to attend these to be a part of the competition, we highly suggest they do attend so that they are well informed as to what the EEC is looking for in their pitch. Finalists will be announced prior to the luncheon and the Winner will be announced at the
luncheon on September 23rd at the World Cafe Live at the Queen. So mark your calendars and look for more details on the upcoming events.
