About Us

Open Arms Free Clinic, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit volunteer medical clinic located in Elkhorn across from the high school. Open Arms Free Clinic, Inc. offers non-emergent health care to individuals without health insurance who live or work in Walworth County with a household income at or below 200% of the federal poverty level who otherwise would not have access to these basic health services.
Open Arms Free Clinic, Inc. is a not-for profit corporation with 501(C)(3) status. It is the policy of Open Arms Free Clinic, Inc. not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, disability or veteran status.

The leaves are so beautiful this time of year, I hope you have a moment to take pause and catch a falling leaf or two... Whether you are raking, baking, or making plans for the seasons ahead, we wanted to let you know of some fun updates for Open Arms Free Clinic.
- OAFC volunteers delivered almost 100 flu vaccine shots to patients this week. Thanks to the generous donation from Walworth County Health and Human Services for supplying the vaccine and to the army of OAFC volunteer nurses & patient advocates who made this possible.
- Exciting meetings with community partners are in motion to pilot dental AND mental health services for OAFC patients. Stay tuned for a January 2015 announcement.
- Getting ready for the Marketplace? OAFC has a licensed insurance agent volunteering at the clinic every Wednesday from 12noon - 4:00 PM. He is certified in every insurance plan available to Walworth County residents on the Federal Marketplace Exchange and BadgerCare. Having a local representative knowledgeable about the FACTS is invaluable, call today (262-379-1401) to make an appointment to learn more of what may be available to you. Non-OAFC patients welcome too!
