A Message from Candidate Susan Chodakewitz

Dear ATCA members,

I am seeking the opportunity to serve as the representative of the East Area of the ATCA Board, and am asking for your vote and support. My commitment to all of you is to be an active and dedicated Board member and one who will represent both individual member interests and continue to leverage and grow the benefits of ATCA membership. I believe that I possess the knowledge, experience, and perspective to have a positive impact. I will ask the right questions and be committed to making the right decisions for the right reasons.

As reflected in my bio, I have had a strong and productive career in various leadership positions. Currently, as President of Tetra Tech AMT-a firm awarded the FAA's "Large Business of the Year" award-my professional and business focus is on the very issues that are core to ATCA. As a provider of PBN, satellite and ground-based navigation, safety, training and IT for the FAA and the international aviation community, I am intimately involved in the major technical and business issues our industry faces. My experience in the NextGen leading edge technologies will enable me to develop, promote and manage growth within ATCA, as well as effectively represent you in the aviation community at large. I also have supported the Department of Defense over the years at both the Service and Agency levels, as well as the Intelligence Community. In all of these roles and in support of a broad array and diversity of clients, my focus is always on bringing stakeholders together from across government, industry and non-profits to identify critical issues, determine strategic priorities, and anticipate opportunities. My proven ability to play a productive and collaborative role will enable me to contribute significantly to ATCA as an organization and - most importantly - advance the goals and objectives of its East Area members by providing more support in a variety of areas. As a member of ATCA's Scholarship and Conference Committees over the past several years, my commitment and contributions are proven. In addition to my corporate role, I also have significant experience in serving on non-profit boards. In fact, I currently serve as Chair of the Board of Women in Aerospace (WIA), a national professional organization dedicated to the aerospace industry.

My background and expertise will greatly complement and augment the outstanding members of the ATCA Board. I will bring significant industry experience coupled with deep analytic skills and strong communication and inter-personal skills, enabling me to advance the needs and objectives of our membership. I look forward to the honor and opportunity to represent the ATCA East Area membership on the ATCA Board of Directors and ask for your support. Please vote at the link below before August 27th.

Best regards,

Sue Chodakewitz
