Advocating for You

Part of the Chamber's job is to advocate for its members on the local, state and national levels. On Thursday, June 2, a meeting was held about the widening of the Florida Turnpike from the State Route 50 entrance in Minneola to I-75. Because the widening of the turnpike will have social, economic and environmental impacts, David Colby and Lucy Hage attended the meeting in order to represent Chamber members and advocate on their behalf.
