This weekend our sermon title is HE HAS COMPASSION! By the power of the Holy Spirit worshipers will know that the touch of Jesus brings life to the believer, they will know the compassion of Jesus in their lives and see themselves as ones who God sends into the world to express His compassion to others!
Schaumburg and Hoffman Estates hosted their annual Memorial Day Ceremony here at St. Peter. It was a great tribute to the all our veterans. ABC News was present and honored a special 104 year old WWII Vet.

Feed My Starving Children is a great opportunity for families to work together to pack meals for children around the world.

RUMMAGE SALE -Did you have your garage sale already? Didn't sell everything you had hoped? Don't throw it out just yet! St. Peter youth are having a rummage sale the weekend of
August 14th. Consider donating items for this cause! People can drop off donated items the week before. There will be lots of volunteer opportunities for students and adults with this project! Contact Joe if you want more details.
The LCMS National Youth Gathering is this summer! The gathering only happens once every three years. Thousands of teenagers from all over attend! Our students will experience powerful worship and praise. They will create lifelong friendships. Their faith will be strengthened through workshops and dynamic bible studies. They also will have out reach opportunities through the National Youth Gathering Meals Project, thousands will be fed because of their work!
