It's Sign-up Time for our 2015 Season
We are celebrating our 20th Growing Season as a Community Supported Agriculture Farm - Yay!
CSA is, in essence, what has defined our mission as a Farm. It's a journey through the growing seasons in partnership with you, our members, where we commit to sharing both the risk and bounty inherent in growing your food. Our guiding principle has always been to maintain the intimacy and openness of the Farm to its community in order to build healthy, sustainable relationships where everyone can be inspired by a more direct connection to the land and all it represents - the plants, animals, soil, water, and the people who grow your food. As CSA members, your participation intricately involves you in the fabric of this nourishing relationship.
We thank you for your continued commitment to this Farm and support of a healthier, more resilient local food system.

Farm Community News It was meant to be - A Match of Earth and Water
Once upon a time a young woman with fiery ambitions left her home and family in Vermont in search of new horizons. She headed West, and didn't stop until running into the mighty Pacific Ocean. Enchanted by its power and beauty, she decided to settle a few miles inland on an Organic Farm. This is the story of Taylor Brady, who in 2008 came to start a Live Earth Farm apprenticeship. While living in one of the yurts on the Farm, she fully immersed herself and embraced life-on-the-farm with enthusiasm and perseverance. She engaged in all aspects of the Farm's operation and quickly took on many important responsibilities in the field, education and outreach, greenhouse propagation, marketing and sales - you name it! Always with energy to spare, she played sports (soccer being her favorite) and quickly reached out into her community to make new friends. Taylor fell in love with Santa Cruz, the Farm and, it didn't take long, with a "native" Southern California surfer boy, Sean Poudrier; it turns out, the love of her life. A new chapter is about to begin; Taylor and Sean exchanged their wedding vows on a stunningly beautiful day at Sunset Beach on the shores of Monterey Bay last Saturday. The Farm hosted the celebration of the newly-weds, an amazing and wonderful community supported effort. Like with all celebrations here on the Farm, everyone pitched in to fill this joyous and nourishing event with many memorable and magical moments of heartfelt happiness. We all wish Taylor and Sean the very best as they follow their passions - one tending the Earth and the other surfing the Ocean Waves.
