We are proud to share Connect - a newsletter designed for families of kids with special needs and the service providers who support them. In this newsletter we hope you find information that is relevant to you. We also share in person events where you can meet local families of kids with special needs. Connect is distributed monthly. 	Summer Camp Spaces still available! Check out our Summer Camp Guide to learn more about inclusive programs, day camps and overnight camps for your child or youth with special needs and autism.
	Northern Karate Schools Kick-A-Thon On June 13, 2016, Charisma, who is the daughter of the owner of Northern Karate Schools, will be participating in this year's 'Kick-A-Thon' with 100% of the proceeds being donated to Children's Treatment Network's (CTN) Family Fund.

	A Change Table Makes a Big Change in Collingwood Thank you to the YMCA for working with us on this important initiative to make the collaborative space more accessible and inclusive for our families.

	Your Opinions and Ideas matter! As part of the Ministry of Children and Youth Services' (MCYS) Moving on Mental Health initiative, Kinark Child and Family Services is conducting an anonymous survey for clients, families, staff, volunteers and service providers regarding communications and branding efforts. This multiple choice survey will take approximately ten minutes and is available until Friday, June 10th at 5pm. Filling in this survey is an important way for you to have your voice heard, and contribute to shaping our shared future. Click here for survey.

	Special Needs Prom: A day to remember for students! This year's inclusive proms in York Region and Simcoe County were a huge success thanks to the team of teachers, staff, students and volunteers who made it possible.
	Celebrating Nurses Week! We celebrated Nurses Week last month with this mom's story about the incredible connection between the homecare nurses and her son with special needs.
