Men's Health Month

That's right: June is Men's Health Month! We are Women's Health Practice, but we know our patients have men in their lives--husbands, fathers, brothers, sons and friends--who they love and care for.  The purpose of Men's Health Month is to heighten the awareness of preventable health problems and encourage early detection and treatment of disease among men and boys.

Did you know that women are 100% more likely to visit the doctor for annual examinations and preventive services than men? If it's been a while since your loved one has seen the doctor, take some time this month to encourage him to have an exam. In the meantime, these articles from Gyno Gab highlight some health tips that could be valuable to the men in your life.
