Concludes Busy Month  

of Healthcare Events 

Entitled Women in Healthcare: Healers and Leaders, the event took place Tues., Sept. 30, 2014 from 7:30-9:30 am at Park Shore Pharmacon in Hallandale Beach.

In concert with Women in Medicine Month, this provocative and timely panel discussion featured five remarkable female physicians. They shared their stories of the challenges overcome and commented on the opportunities ahead as women in medicine continue to make their mark on the industry.

Tuesday's Healthcare Roundtable capped a hectic month of Broward county healthcare events that included Broad & Cassel's 4th Annual Health Forum on September 12 at the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood; an SFHEF education program on September 18 in Sunrise; SFMGMA's Roadmap to Survival in Healthcare on September 20 in Fort Lauderdale (with support from the Broward County Medical Association and the Dade County Medical Association); and the SFHNG monthly healthcare networker hosted by Broward Health North in Pompano Beach on September 25.
