Student wins Fauchard Award
Dr. Carmine LoMonaco presents the award to Adam Hashemi.

Congrats to Adam Hashemi, winner of this year's Pierre Fauchard Academy scholarship award. It goes to third-year student leaders who display "integrity, imagination, initiative and communication skills.'' Hashemi, of Long Island, plans on becoming a general dentist but is also interested in research. He was a first-place Balbo Day winner last year. "Reserch is what keeps us a profession and not a trade,'' he says. "That's how our field advances.''
