Halloween Reminder:

The parade starts at 9:15am.  Classes will walk around the track twice.  ALL visitors staying after for the room parties must check in at the office.  Please DO NOT park on the East side of St. Paul Street in the loading zone.  You are able to unload your vehicle to bring in supplies for the party, but your car must be moved after that.  Here is a map of surrounding streets where you can park.

Remember, students will need a change of clothes for after the party.

MORE NEW TECHNOLOGY!!

We received over 200 new chrome books and 75 iPads this past week.  We now have a 1:1 student to device ratio for all 3rd-5th grade classes, and a 2:1 student to device ratio for all K-2nd grade classrooms.  In addition, 9 new promethean boards have been delivered, and installation should be completed by November 7th.  Please plan to attend our PTA meeting next Tuesday, 11/4 at 6pm if you'd like to see our very own Jennifer Wilson (3rd Grade Teacher) demonstrate the benefits of having a promethean board in the classroom. The chrome books & iPads were funded by our Blended Learning Grant/School Funds, and the promethean boards by our PTA.  These amazing financial contributions to our technology will allow our students to make learning more engaging and interactive while expanding their experiences beyond the walls of our building.

Are you a proud supporter of University Park?  If so, please stop by the office to pick up a Proud Supporter yard sign!  First come, first serve while supplies last!
