Rules Clinic:
The Sacramento Golf Club is having a Rules Clinic next Thursday, January 22nd at Haggin Oaks in the Pavilion. John Nakamura is conducting the "free" clinic on "Obstructions, Water Hazards, OB, and Lost Ball". Let this clinic break down the main rules and take the mystique out of the game. Let the rules work for you and not against you.
Thursday, January 22 2015 - 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm. Meet at the Haggin Oaks Pavilion.

2015 Chapter Directory

| Kickoff Champagne Brunch - February 7 |
So much fun awaits you on February 7 at the 2015 Kickoff Champagne Brunch! What could be better? Great food, champagne, plenty of golf in our opportunity drawings and a special item opportunity. Tickets for the golf opportunities will be $10 for 10 tickets and $20 for 25 tickets. The special opportunity item is a set of Nike Irons valued at $800 donated by Del Sayles-Owen. Del received these irons from EWGA for her recruitment of the Cohn-Reznick group and she wants to "play" it forward to her EWGA friends in Sacramento.
Have a friend that is thinking about joining EWGA? Bring your friend to the Kickoff and your friend will receive a $20 discount when doing at the Classic level (pay $135 instead of $155).

| Should We Play 100 Holes of Golf in One Day? Are We Crazy? |

Team Langwell, Charlotte Wells and Leslie Lang played 100 holes of golf on Monday, January 12 to raise money for the Morton Golf Foundation. Here's the interesting part, they started at day break and expected to be playing until days end, but were finished by 1:30! Congratulations are in order!!!

Sharon Blume is the Tuesday "Day" Golf organizer. It's casual and always fun. If you are interested in playing "Tuesday Golf" you need to contact Sharon by Monday a week before the Tuesday you want to play. For example, contact Sharon on Monday the 1st. She would make reservations on Tuesday the 2nd for the following Tuesday. The time of play is around 10:00 a.m. and is at a different course every week. If you're interested or have questions, contact Sharon Blume.

Looking for an excuse to escape winter? Well, maybe not escape our California great winter weather, but EWGA has a Par 3 Challenge that sounds like fun!
Grab a friend (a guy or gal - member or non-member) and travel south this spring to compete in this fun 2-person best ball event. There are two opportunities coming up right around the corner in February: Savannah, GA, on the 17th or Fort Worth, TX, on the 20th. Can't escape that fast? How about San Diego March 11th or Scottsdale, AZ March 29th? Don't feel like traveling as far - there are 5 other locations in April and May and you can pick any one you'd like!
