Many thanks to all who made the event possible! Thank you, in particular, to Layl McDill, Ella Ramsey, Sandra Brick, Jenny and the entire Textile Center staff, and the Development Committee of the Textile Center Board." -Tina Hughes, Textile Center Board Member and Chair, Development Committee.
Thanks also to Allegra Printing, Bubble Gum Photobooths, Danae Rem design services, and to all the businesses, guilds, organizations, and artists who made the event happen. We raised over $9,000 for Textile Center!

Project Examples
Bundles of Love
Every 3 hours, a baby in Minnesota goes home with a free bundle of 25 items produced by Bundles Of Love. Without this bundle, these babies would have nothing - no clothing, no bedding, no diaper bag because their parents are unable to provide these basic needs. Volunteers provide clothing, bedding and other necessities for infants, clothing for premature infants of all sizes, and burial garments and keepsakes for families who have suffered the loss of an infant.
This organization is in need of the following knit or crocheted items: socks, booties, hats, sweaters, baby afghans, jackets and pants. www.bundlesoflove.org
The Mother Bear Project is dedicated to providing comfort and hope to children affected by HIV/AIDS in emerging nations, by giving them a gift of love in the form of a hand-knit or crocheted bear. www.motherbearproject.org
The National Center on Shaken Baby Syndrome
A North America initiative to help educate caregivers about normal infant crying, how to cope with crying and the dangers of reacting to crying in frustration by shaking or harming an infant. The organization is collecting hand knit or crocheted purple hats which will be given to new parents in hospitals and doctors' offices. www.clickforbabies.org
