MHSA Supporters Gather for 2014 Annual Meeting

Joe Finn presents Senator Stanley C. Rosenberg with his award alongside representatives from MHSA member agencies in Western Massachusetts.
On December 2, MHSA gathered in Boston with 80 member agency representatives, board members and community partners to celebrate the
2014 MHSA Annual Meeting.

The event provided an opportunity for MHSA supporters to reflect on MHSA's recent accomplishments and honor two individuals who have made important contributions to efforts to end homelessness in Massachusetts:
State Senator Stanley C. Rosenberg, Massachusetts Senate Majority Leader, and Richard Brunson, Interim Clinical Coordinator at Bridge Over Troubled Waters.

MHSA extends our special thanks to this year's Headline Sponsor, Eastern Bank, and to Combined Jewish Philanthropies for generously donating the event space!

Letter from the President & Executive Director: Pay for Success

Dear friends of MHSA:

Many days and hours were invested in developing the Massachusetts Pay for Success (PFS) Contract to bring to scale MHSA's successful Home & Healthy for Good permanent supportive housing program. The development of this PFS contract would not have been possible without the participation of numerous people willing to explore the possibility of utilizing social innovation financing in a unique and collaborative fashion. This project emerged from nearly three years of thought and conversation among people motivated solely by the idea itself. Those listed below are private individuals who invested countless hours in bringing this initiative from imagination to reality. From the introduction of the concept to the final signing of the contract, there are so many people to thank for their time and talent in bringing this innovation to Massachusetts! We hope this sincere thank you captures most of them.

Thank You!
