I see it with Ted. A very strong physical resemblance... Uncanny!" Historic Everett Theatre presents the Outcast Players in a Fred Carmichael Comedy Who-done-it
Done to Death is a 1970 play written by Fred Carmichael. The plot focuses on five past their prime Mystery Fiction writers who are brought to the mysterious Vulture's Vault to collaborate on and write a new murder mystery TV series. And then real murders start to happen and Hilarity Ensues.
The play is huge parody of the murder mystery genre as each writer has their own style that they use in hopes of figuring out the murders. The play often delves into fantasy sequences and Breaking the Fourth Wall.
The play follows a team of five renowned mystery writers, assembled to write scripts for a new TV show. Each writer encompasses their own type of writing style but what they all have in common is their habit of conjuring clich stories that have been "done to death."
From the start, the performance breaks the fourth wall as the actors communicate with the audience, for instance, asking for applause and laughter in some scenes.tickets can be purchased here.

Juice Newton (born Judith Kay Newton, February 18, 1952, Lakehurst, NJ) was part of the first wave of country singers raised on rock, folk-rock, and singer/songwriters, which is evident from her hit singles. "Angel of the Morning" and "Queen of Hearts," her two crossover hits, have country-pop arrangements, but their roots are in '60s pop and new wave roots rock, respectively. That's why she managed pop crossover hits in the early '80s and also why she was able to sustain country success throughout the decade. Tickets can be purchased here.
