The Herreshoff Classic Regatta & Rendezvous

The Herreshoff Classic Regatta is an annual event drawing participants from around the world. Classic yachts, many of them Herreshoff designs, gather for a weekend of racing and social events. Located at the Herreshoff Marine Museum Waterfront in beautiful Bristol Harbor. The 2014 Herreshoff Regatta will celebrate the centennial of three Herreshoff Designs: The Newport 29, Buzzard's Bay 25, and the Buzzards Bay Boys Boat.

EARLY ARRIVALS
Thursday August 21st
Classic yachts are invited to participate in the Living Boat Show on the Museum's moorings and waterfront on Friday afternoon. Qualifying yachts entered in the Regatta are encouraged to arrive a day early on Thursday and will be given dock space or a mooring for the night of the 21st at no charge, space available.

The show welcomes participants in the Herreshoff Classic Regatta and members of the general public to come together in celebration of classic yachts and our nation's yachting history. This event is free and open to the public. Cocktails will be served at a cash bar.

Cocktails begin under the tent at 1700. Price is $55 per person. Dinner will be served at 1830. CASH BAR. Awards to follow. |

1200: Wind Hill Trophy Race - Special race for Herreshoff 12 1/2s (& Bullseye, Doughdish, etc.) in celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the design.
