It's that time of year again. Snow is beginning to fall, presents are wrapped, candles are lit, and our hearts are filled with joy.

National Safe Toys and Gifts Month

With holiday time, comes gift giving time. Toys are a great way to boost cognitive, educational, and emotional learning in our kids! The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has created a robust toy safety system, by requiring testing by independent third party testing laboratories around the world.
|
Currently, we are running our Leadership in the Community program at the Roseneath Cottage of the Smithtown Historical Society. This program is run in collaboration with the League of Women Voters.
We are also actively meeting with all of the schools throughout Smithtown, Hauppauge, Commack, and Kings Park to bring programming to our youth during and after school hours. Keep a look out on our website and in the backpacks of your kids as well!
