City Seeks Smiling Faces to Greet City Hall Visitors
Westland, MI - The City of Westland is seeking upbeat, customer service-oriented volunteers to serve as greeters at City Hall. If you are a "people person" and have a few hours a day or week to volunteer, we want to talk to you!

Greeters should possess basic computer and telephone skills, and be willing to greet visitors to City Hall, directing them to various departments, events taking place in our community and meeting rooms, or answering basic questions about City services. Greeters will not handle money or prepare City documents or provide technical information.

Greeters will be scheduled during normal City Hall business hours of Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with City Hall closed on holidays. Infrequently, greeters may be scheduled outside normal business hours for special events.

Please submit your letter of interest to the Mayor's Office, 36300 Warren Road, Westland, MI 48185 or by completing the online application that may be found at www.cityofwestland.com. These are volunteer positions and while greeters will receive no monetary compensation, the knowledge gained in this public service role will be worthwhile and fun!
