Never a Dull Moment

We started in 2007 when we hosted a Farm~To~Table~ Dinner on our beautiful newly purchased 18 acre 1930's homestead, which we now refer to as 'The Farm'. That night a creative breeze gave inspiration to us and we brought you GLAMPING adding 4 luxurious, magical sleeping tents to the property which we now have scattered on our ridge.
Time crept on... and guests came and went...some have come back again and again. We have sat around the fire-pit with wine or home-brew in hand and shared many stories over the years.

Then we became restless and in 2012 we began yet another adventure when we purchased a 1940's historic building in downtown Ellijay. This building has come to be known as The Martyn House In Towne. This was to become our way of creatively connecting our community! We knew coffee needed to be involved and thus the 'Coffeehouse'.

As the months turned into years we listened... we watched ... and now we put the final pieces of our creative puzzle together. Our love of good farm fresh food has evolved into Friday night dinners and what we are calling Fabulous Friday's at 'Cafe 131'

And finally what used to be our music venue next door has been slowly redesigned and thoughtfully put back together. It is a private club and we are calling it our 'Speakeasy'. We will be providing a private space for those conference calls or meetings from 8-5 and also a place to relax and enjoy that quiet time we call the end of the day............

The Martyn House

The smell of freshly roasted coffee fills the air at the COFFEEHOUSE located in The Martyn House In Towne. The Martyn House In Towne is a meticulously restored 1940's building in the North Main District of beautiful downtown historic Ellijay, GA. Come relax with a book, your laptop or meet your friends in the coffee lounge. The lounge is complete with book shelves filled with good reads, games, and even a fireplace. There are also two courtyards where you can enjoy the fresh mountain air. Free high speed WIFI is available throughout.

The Farm is a unique Bed and Breakfast and Intimate Event Venue located on 18 beautiful acres in the North Georgia Mountains. The Farm is a natural haven, a welcoming place to those in search of an escape in Mother Nature.

We are Home of Glamping where guests stay in luxury sleeping tents from India. Our 1930's Farmhouse is a Bed and Breakfast offering travelers a room for the night.

Café 131 is a small reservation-only neighborhood eatery

with an eclectic ever-changing menu featuring fresh seasonal produce, local meats and dairy.

We are BYOB establishment with a $5 corking fee per bottle.

At Café 131, fine dining has been redefined. Our menu changes weekly based on what's available at the local farms or what Chef Lauri feels like cooking. The menu usually consists of two appetizers, a soup, two entrées, and one perfectly paired dessert.

We are open Friday nights only ~ two seatings 5:30- 7:30

About Us

We are Rick and JoAnn and we offer a unique collection of businesses... First there is The Farm ~ A Bed & Breakfast located on 18 beautiful acres & Home of Glamping, it is also an Intimate Event Venue ~ perfect for destination weddings.

Then we have our 1940's completely renovated building in historic downtown Ellijay where we have a Coffeehouse with an Espresso Bar and Bistro, Cafe 131, a Speakeasy (Private Club~members only) and a photography Studio. We can assure you we are a work in progress!
