Cider Tasting for CityFruit

City Fruit's 4th Annual Cider Taste is bigger and better than ever! Join CityFruit November 6th at the Palace Ballroom for a celebration of the 2014 harvest, including tastes from 10 Pacific Northwest cideries and a City Fruit Marketplace featuring glassybaby, Stumbling Goat jam, cookbooks, and more.

Bryant Elementary Homework Center Tutor

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 3:40-4:45 p.m. | Bryant Elementary (3311 NE 60th St.)      
 

Bryant Elementary School, located near the UW, needs tutors to support our at-risk students, grades 3-5, who are referred by our teachers for help with math, reading and writing in our after school Homework Center.


Tutors are paired with students by our on-site coordinator. Tutors work one-to-one, helping students complete their homework and work on targeted skill areas. The Homework Center runs Monday- Thursday from mid-Oct. through the end of May.

Helping Kids Thrive Benefit Luncheon  
Friday 11/8, 8-10am | Meydenbauer Center (11100 NE 6th St.) | Free 

Support  Eastside Baby Corner's annual fund raising luncheon to raise funds to support a mission serving children from birth to age 12. Eastside Baby Corner helps kids thrive by providing the basic necessities that every child needs.

Help us set up for our annual event; assemble centerpieces, organize sign in, stage props, decorations, brochures, etc. More than 650 guests are expected and a team of hard-working volunteers will help us get ready for this important event!
