The 2015 - 2016 school year has been a great one for the Seattle Area German American School! As we move into the final months of our school year, we look forward to the year to come. We will be welcoming a record number of students, we will be adding staff and grades to our elementary school, and we will continue to refine our leadership structure to grow our Preschool and K-5 Elementary School. Additionally, we will continue to strengthen our Academic Afterschool programs that accompany students through their Deutsches Sprachdiplom.
In keeping with the tradition and values of our community, tuition rates for the 2016-2017 school year reflect our commitment to make The SAGA School an affordable option for families seeking an immersion education experience. However, to maintain the quality of the education and extracurricular programs we provide on a daily basis, fundraising is becoming an integral part of our financial planning.
In the Spring of 2015, our community came together and raised $40,000 to help make this school year a success. For our 2016 Spring Fundraising Drive we are seeking to raise $60,000.

as a match for the Spring Fundraising Drive!

Of the funds raised $40,000 will be allocated to our Annual Fund that helps bridge the gap between our affordable tuition rates and the cost of providing a top-notch education to our kids. The remaining $20,000 will serve as the inaugural investment in an upcoming Capital Campaign to complete the purchase of our Greenwood building.
