Yom Ha'atzmaut Celebrations

Fishing in Eilat, camel riding in the desert, meeting Israeli Prime Ministers and making falafel are just a few of the fun and educational interactive experiences that students enjoyed to celebrate Yom Ha'atzmaut today.

Buds Prepares for Yom Ha'atzmaut

Buds Daled prepares for Yom Ha'atzmaut by studying and recreating a map of Israel with symbols for the cities they learned about, and painting waterfalls and palm trees to recreate Ein Gedi in their classroom.

2nd Graders Set Butterflies Free

2nd Graders released the Black Swallowtail Butterflies that have lived in their classroom since October. They observed the butterflies transform from chrysalises to beautiful butterflies and set them free for the next stage of their journey.

6th Graders Explore Volume

6th Graders in Mrs. Sheinfeld's math class are exploring the volume of cylinders and prisms through industrial design. They are working to design movie theater popcorn containers. All containers use the same amount of material, but have different volumes. If you were the theater owner, which container would you stock and why?
