Dear School Families
As the school year comes to a close, our minds and hearts are filled to the brim. It's been a great year!
Special thanks to all of you who have contributed to the success of our school year. We could not keep our doors open without the generous support of time and talent from our parents and community volunteers. I'd like to thank in a special way our Home and School Association and School Advisory Board for all their commitment to our students and school community. They have worked hard to provide a variety of fun, enriching activities for our students, parents and faculty.
We offer best wishes to Lindsey Hammann, one of our preschool teachers, who has taken a job with Jefferson City Public School.
Exciting news, our enrollment numbers have increased in kindergarten, so we will open up an additional classroom in kindergarten.
I also wanted to let you know that we are continuing to watch enrollment across several grade levels. This past couple of weeks we have received many new requests for enrollment at St. Peters. I attribute this to the excellent staff, great students and wonderful families that we serve.
Please continue to work with your students this summer: read to them, have them count the change in the change jar, help them make choices and order when you are out to eat, encourage good social skills with eye contact and slow and clear speech. Our community offers so many learning opportunities throughout the summer months.
I am attaching next year's calendar.
Until then, enjoy a restful and replenishing summer with your families! God Bless you all.
