* In Frank's opinion, the govt will be seated on Sept 10

* Delta said that Abadi has taken charge, he is working with the various coalitions in Iraq, unfortunately some coalitions have tried to take advantage of the situation

* The nomination for defense minister was red-flagged by the USA, so they had nominate another person

* Iraqia TV is saying the parliament will vote on the new GOI at 8 pm Monday (Iraq time); could be voted on Tuesday morning; however the USA is pushing hard for the gov't to be formed and confidence vote very soon

THE COL CALLED ME ABOUT 8PM LAST EVENING AND SAID THEY HAD JUST WALKED OUT OF THE MEETING SO GUYS THAT TO ME IS HUGE AND THEY MUST HAVE MADE PROGRESS TO STAY THAT LATE.

Why is this not easy to understand? Why make the messengers guilty of mis- information when these forces are mightier than the proverbial sword right at this time.

Being a rather extreme pragmatist I am doing just fine and in fact have been having moments of great excitement! If you know me at all you know that I run from small mindedness and seek out the big picture in everything.

On August11 I learned that Iraq had selected a seemingly nobody to be their next PM. Who was this Mr. al-Abadi and why him?

Before the hour had ended I found my answer, this 'nobody' had served as the president of Iraq's parliamentary finance committee from 2011-present. My mind was doing cartwheels!

We know that there are dignitaries in Iraq from all over the world. We know that there are (reportedly) challenges with sitting ministers which have been resolved.

We know that there have been (reportedly) RATES SHOWING ON SCREEN and on HOLD.

We know that BIDEN went to Iraq to participate in the celebration and support the call to justice and fairness and THE AMERICAN WAY (chuckle here, but he gets a booooyahhh anyway...).

We know that the CBI is LOCKED AND LOADED and the WORLD WAITS ON THE GREEN LIGHT. With all this knowing we can be certain it's DONE, DONE, DONE, STICK-A-FORK-IN-IT-DONE, as Dear Exo would state.
