100% Liability Date for Contracted Booth Space is June 3, 2016
This coming June 3rd companies will become liable for payment of 100% of their contracted exhibit space EVEN IF THEY DECIDE NOT TO EXHIBIT! If you're considering downgrading or canceling you will need to send notice to National Trade Productions IN WRITING prior to this date to avoid being liable for 100% of your contracted exhibit space payment. Please note these important clauses from your executed contract:
Section 5:
Item C: FAILURE TO MAKE PAYMENT BY SAID PAYMENT DEADLINES DOES NOT RELEASE THE EXHIBITOR FROM CONTRACTUAL OR FINANCIAL OBLIGATION. Exhibitors will be liable for any collection expenses, including reasonable Attorney's fees; "reasonable" to be construed as not less than twenty-five percent (25%) of the amount of all other moneys determined to be owed by the Exhibitor.
Item E: CANCELLATION: Exhibitor's space may be cancelled by DEMA for failure to pay balance when due. In the event space is cancelled by DEMA, NO PRIOR PAYMENTS WILL BE REFUNDED TO THE EXHIBITOR and DEMA may lease such cancelled space to another exhibitor at its discretion. WRITTEN NOTICE OF EXHIBIT SPACE CHANGE OR CANCELLATION REQUEST ON COMPANY LETTERHEAD MUST BE RECEIVED BY NTP VIA CERTIFIED MAIL (please do not email) prior to each payment deadline in order for the exhibitor to avoid the financial liability associated with future payment deadlines.
Please be vigilant if approached by any company or service
other than Passkey International (managed by the Westgate Hotel), DEMA Show's Official Housing Provider, that implies or claims to be an official housing provider of DEMA Show 2016. We have been made aware of other housing companies or travel agencies that may be aggressively pursuing you, or your company, to book your guest rooms through their company at supposedly significant discounts. DEMA Show has NO affiliation with these organizations and in no way endorses their services. View a list of companies to watch out for and be vigilant!
